Happy 50th! 2

Here is the card I made for my friend to give to her parents from her. Check out the card from me here. The card base is metallic gold card stock. Around the edges of it I inked Hydrangea CTMH ink. The paper under the blue is a purple card stock. The blue is cut from the Art Philosophy cartridge. Sorry, but I don't remember which CTMH stamp set "Always & Forever" is from. The butterfly is from Art Philosophy, and so is the flower. The center of the flower has a tiny little stick-on pearl. The butterfly is popped up on a CTMH pop-up block. The paper on the inside is blue card stock with a nice sentiment which was printed on it with my printer. The edges of the blue were cut with my YourStory paper cutter using the wavy edge. After I cut the egdes, I inked them with Hydrangea ink.

Happy 50th!

Here is one of the cards I made for my friends' parents' 50th wedding anniversary! This is the card from my family and I. The base of the card was cut in a teal card stock from the Cricut and Close To My Heart Art Philosophy cartridge. The second layer is a metallic brown card stock from Michaels. Love is from the Sweethearts Cricut cartridge. It was cut on a purple mix card stock. The purple flower is from the Art Philosophy cart... which I absolutely LOVE! It is so great! The dark purple around the light purple is a purple card stock circle. The layer that the sentiment is on is the same paper that love was cut from. The sentiment was printed on the paper and then I cut it into a circle.

It is also edged in Goldrush. The sentiment on the inside is from Best Wishes and is stamped in Heavenly Blue ink.

Happy Birthday Ginny!

Here is the card I made for my sister-in-law's birthday. The card base is metallic silver paper from Michael's. The girl (which looks absolutely amazeballs!) is from the Rock Princess Cricut cartridge. On the silver paper I dotted pink Studio G glitter glue around the girl. For the inside, I used my Gypsy (Cricut) to lay out the message on the inside and then I used the paper that the letters were cut our of and taped it on top of the silver. The Cricut cartridge used is Feelin' Groovy. I also inked the edges of the pink with CTMH Hollyhock ink. To give the card even more awesomeness I attached an Action Wobble to her so it moves, to make her look like she is dancing. Also, I made the girl to actually look like Ginny.

P.S. There is sound but it is of my dog breathing in the background. Haha.

Spidy Hat

Here is another Halloween card. This one is a neon green base with orange as the second layer. The hat (spider and string thing attatched) was cut from black. The strip on the hat is green card stock (same as card base). And the buckle is shiny gold paper from Michael's. The spider has CTMH Liquid Glass on it and the string coming from it is just marked over with white pen. The ribbon at the bottom of the card is Studio G.

Another Bat

Here is another Halloween card I've made. This one is on an orange base with textured purple paper as the second layer. The bat is from the Happy Haunting Cricut cart. I used two clear CTMH Bitty Sparkles for the eyes. The ribbon at the bottom is Studio G and what I did for that was put on a long strip across the bottom, then I just tied a little piece off to the side and trimmed the ends diagonally.

Cute Boot

Here's another! This one is a neon green base, with dark purple as the second layer, and orange as the third layer. This card isn't the best of all of them but i think it looks okay. The boot is cut from purple textured card stock, and has a CTMH Bitty Sparkle on the tip. At the bottom I have green CTMH Sassy Strands from the Summer Carnival set and purple CTMH Sassy Strands also from the Summer Carnival set. Okay, now I have a bad joke for ya. On the inside it says boo. Well, I showed my mom and she said I spelled it wrong and forgot the "t" at the end. I was: thinking the end of what? Then she explained it... Whats on the front? A Boot. I forgot the "t" at the end. End of what? Boo. Get it? There's a boot on the front, and on the inside it says boo. I forgot the "t". Yeah, hillarious.

Tree and Bats

Here is another Halloween card (BTW: there is going to be a whole lot more). The base is black card stock with orange as the second layer. I don't remember which one, but the tree is cut from one of the Cricut carts. But I do know that it is cut from brown card stock. The little bats are from a Fiskars stamp I got a long time ago. I stamped them in Black CTMH ink and then cut them out and glued them on the front of the card.

Friendly Ghost

Here is a Halloween card I made. The base of the card is black card stock. The second layer is is a bright orange. On the edges I rubbed Pansy Purple CTMH ink. I think the ghost is from the Happy Haunting Cricut cartridge. It is cut out on metallic white paper that I got from Michael's. For the eyes I just used a hole punch, punched two hole and put two little black brads from CTMH where the eyes would be. The little hands on the ghost are not glued down so I could bend them up. The ribbon on the bottom of the card is Studio G and I just got a whole spool of it at Wal-Mart for like 97 cents.

Happy Birthday Lisa!!

First of all, YAY! This is my 50th, YES 50th post!! Okay, so here is a birthday card I made for my friend Lisa. Here is a link to her scrapbooking blog mimisscrapbookroom.com. The base for the card is a cream colored card stock. The next layer of the card is a peachy pink color. On the pink I used a foam dauber and inked the edges with Chocolate. The dress form is cut using a PaperTreyInk diecut, from card stock with pink and brown butterflies. Around the waist of the dress form I put some CTMH Chocolate Waxy Flax. The giant flower next to the dress form is a CTMH JustBlooms paper flower which I inked with Hollyhock and Chocolate CTMH inks. In the center of the flower I put a Chocolate CTMH flower button. I also put Vanilla Cream CTMH Waxy Flax through the button. The ribbon on the right of the card is just brown ribbon I might have picked up at Wal-Mart. The stamp on the front is from the PaperTreyInk Series: Dress Form stamp set. If you can't read the stamp it says "Wishing you a fabulous day". The stamp on the inside of the card is from the Thoughtful Scripts CTMH stamp set. It is stamped in Hollyhock. The very last picture is my new CTMH Custom Stamp which I am absolutely in love with! Aren't you?
