You Rock

Here is a card I made just because. All the inks and stamps i used are CTMH, except the VersaMark Dazzle ink i used on the card base. The ink colors i used are Grey Flannel, Pansy Purple, Citrus Leaf, and Ocean. The "YOU ROCK" is from the You Rock stamp set. The little stars are from the Just Be You stamp set. And the big stars are from the Starstruck Stamp set. The ribbon was just white Wal-Mart ribbon that i inked with Ocean and Citrus, using the foam dauber (CTMH). The brads are purple CTMH brads. I popped up the "YOU ROCK" with CTMH pop-up blocks. I stamped everything on white card stock but daubed it with Grey Flannel, because the stripes on the black piece of paper are grey-ish.

Find Your Style

Here is a card i made using my new Find Your Style CTMH stamp set. It's really cool.... i got it because my daughter likes it... i do too! Okay, for this card i used dark purple card stock for the base and i used a bright blue piece of card stock on top of it. The only ink color i used was Pansy Purple (CTMH of course). As you can see i used the butterfly from the stamp set and i cut it out after i stamped it on white paper. I also popped it up using pop-up squares. The blue paper behind the butterfly was plain blue paper but i stamped it with the plain dots stamp from the Spot On Backgrounds set. it would have been just plain polka dots except they wouldn't line up right so i just kept randomly stamping and it made this really cool design. On the top right and bottom left i used small white CTMH brads for a little more decoration. On the butterfly it says a bunch of things like: love, soar, fly, free, trust, transform, believe, change, learn, dream, faith, and some other things.

P.S. All of the inks and stamps are CTMH unless i say otherwise.

Sympathy Card

Here is a card i made for a girl i work with who just lost her father = (  The "thinking of you" is popped up. the inks i used are: Hydrangea, and Parchment (along the edges of the card base and on the inside.) On the front of the card the leaves were stamped with VersaMark water mark ink, and the stamp is from the Romantic Backgrounds set. The ribbon is just light green ribbon from Wal-Mart. If you can't read the inside well it says: May the peace of God bring you comfort today and hope for tomorrow. The 2 inks and the stamps are CTMH.

Grown With Love

Here is another Valentine's day card I made using the CTMH Grown With Love stamp set. The yellow flower is from the White Daisies tube, but I inked it with yellow. The heart on the flower is from the stamp set and I just cut it out and put Liquid Glass over it to make it shiny. The ink colors I used are: Desert Sand, Holiday Red, Sunkiss Yellow, and Sweet Leaf. They are all CTMH.

Crazy About You

Here is the V-day card I made for my hubby <3. I used the idea from the CTMH Spring 2010 idea book (page 72). The ink colors used are Outdoor Denim and New England Ivy (CTMH inks). My paper colors are greens, gold, navies, browns, and tans. On the outside where it says love and crazy about you, I second generation-ed the Outdoor Denim because it was too dark. The ribbon I used was from the CTMH Design New England Ivy container. Also, I used the large Outdoor Denim brads at the top instead of buttons like it shows in the book. Around the edges, instead of stiching it i just used white pen.

Hey, Sweetheart

Here is a Valentine's day card I made. For the card base i used a deep red cardstock. The grey sheet on top is actually a textured metallic silver. For the string i used the Cranberry CTMH Waxy Flax. The white hearts are actually left overs from the Feb. message board, and i just put purple behind them. I did not glue down the hearts so they have movement (that is why they are sideways) On the inside everything was stamped using Pansy Purple (CTMH ink). The letters are from Charmed Lower Case stamp set, and the hearts are from the Smitten stamp set (CTMH stamps). Also, i know sweetheart is clearly one word, but it wouldn't fit on the card so i did it like this.
