Get Well Soon!

My mother-in-law just had back surgery so I made her a get well card! The base is light yellow card stock the pink is bright pink textured card stock. All of the inks used are CTMH. They are (from left to right): Sunkiss Yellow, Hollyhock (2nd gen.),Heavenly Blue, Baby Pink, Crystal Blue, Amethyst, and Sweet Leaf for the stems. In the center of each flower I put a dot of liquid glass, but for the tall blue flower I put it on the dots on the outside. The stampset is One of a Kind (CTMH). For the inside I used Pink Carnation for the get well soon and on the edges. The buggies are stamped in Heavenly Blue. The stampset they came from is  the Celebrations-Solid stampset.

Party Animal

It's not any ones birthday yet but here is a birthday card I made last night. The monkeys and palm tree are from a stamp I got a long time ago... I think from Wal-Mart. The happy birthday and the leaves on the palm tree are stamped in Topiary (CTMH). The base of the palm tree is Desert Sand. The brown of the monkeys is Chocolate. The pink of the monkeys is Baby Pink, and the outlining of the monkeys and tree is just Black. For sand on the bottom I used the CTMH Maize color pencil. To make the card more fun I put dots of silver glitter glue all over the front. I also put liquid glass on the coconuts in the palm tree and on the girl monkey's flower. The base of the card is light pink card stock and the white is white card stock. For the hanging monkey I put a hole on each side of his tail and pulled Cream colored CTMH Waxy Flax through them so it would look like he was really hanging. Okay for the inside the white is white card stock, the green is from a paper pack from Joann's called Vintage. The words are stamped in Baby Pink and Pink Carnation was used on the edge of the white paper. Also, the stamp for the inside is Charm Lowercase.

Happy Mother's Day Mom

Here is my mother's, Mother's Day card. The base is purple card stock, the dragonfly is blue card stock, the biggest flower is light yellow card stock, the smallest flower is coral card stock even though it looks like light pink, and the last flower is light pink card stock with a green card stock leaf. The whole outside is one big piece (the orange/gold color) with separate pieces on top (dragonfly, flowers, leaf). The cartridge used for the outside is Home D`ecore. Also, the whole front is popped up with CTMH pop up blocks. The blue on the inside is the same blue as the dragon fly. The paper on top of the blue is called Nightlife from the DCWV The Metallic Stack. (The color is like lavender). The cartridge used for the inside is Mother's Day 2010. On the centers of the flowers I put the CTMH Liquid Glass and on the wings of the dragonfly I rubbed it on so it would look like the texture of real wings. For the eyes I put two little blue stick-on gems. I also rounded the corners of the base.

Happy B-day Donald

Here is my step dad's birthday card. The dog and dog house are from the Best Friends Imagine cartridge. The happy birthday, ruff ruff, and the dog bone, are all from the CAC Cricut cartridge. The patterns on the words and bone, are from the Best Friends cartridge. Behind the Ruff Ruff I stippled CTMH Grey Wool ink so it could be seen better.
